Elk River Rotary Grant Funding Request Guidelines
The Elk River Rotary Club is dedicated to supporting local projects and organizations that positively impact our community (primarily serving zip code 55330). We invite eligible organizations to apply for grant funding that aligns with our annual priorities and community initiatives.
 
Annual Grant Timeline
  • January 15 – March 30: Application window for submitting funding requests.
  • Each year Rotarians will vote to rank this year’s priorities (1-5).
  • Priorities include (in no particular order)
  1. Economic Empowerment
  2. Environmental Preservation/ Conservation
  3. Lifelong Learning
  4. Health, Welfare, and Wellness
  5. Youth Enrichment
  • Deadline to submit applications. March 30:
  • A selection committee will review applications and makes recommendations to the full Club.
  • Announcement of award recipient organizations and distribution of funds will happen in May each year.
  • In June, all recipient organizations are invited to a Rotary meeting for official check presentation and photo opportunities.
 
Application Guidelines
  • Submission Window:
    Applications must be received between January 15 and March 30 each year.
 
  • Eligibility & Criteria:
  • Funding is intended for services, projects, or events that benefit our local community.
  • Please include a description of the service or project’s value to the community.
  • Ineligible Requests:
  • Religious or fraternal organizations
  • Political organizations, campaigns, or projects
  • Memorials, endowments, or multi-year pledges
  • Fundraising efforts to benefit other organizations
  • Organizations that discriminate based on race, creed, color, sex, or national origin
 
Acknowledgment & Submission
  • Acknowledgment:
    Recipients are requested to acknowledge the Elk River Rotary Club in writing and, if possible, through verbal or printed announcements.
