Elk River Rotary Community Grant Program
The Elk River Rotary Club is dedicated to supporting local projects and organizations that make a positive difference in our community — especially within the 55330 ZIP code. If your organization helps people learn, live healthier, protect our environment, or strengthen our community, we invite you to apply for a Rotary Community Grant.
 
🗓️ When to Apply
  • Applications open: January 15
  • Applications close: March 30
  • The Rotary Grant Committee reviews all requests in April and recommends awards to the full club.
  • Grant recipients are announced in May.
  • Checks are presented at a Rotary meeting in June, with photo opportunities and community recognition.
💰 Grant Details
  • Grant awards typically range from $500 to $2,500.
  • Applicants must have 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
  • Recipients are notified by email, and checks are mailed with an official letter of congratulations.

Elk River Rotary has proudly supported local initiatives such as:

✅ Eligibility
We welcome applications from local nonprofits, service clubs, schools, and community organizations that:
  • Serve residents of the Elk River area
  • Clearly describe the project’s value to the community
  • Request funding for a specific project, service, or event (not general operations)
🚫 What We Can’t Fund
Rotary grants cannot support:
  • Religious or fraternal organizations
  • Political groups, campaigns, or causes
  • Memorials, endowments, or multi-year pledges
  • Fundraising events that benefit another organization
  • Any organization that discriminates based on race, creed, color, sex, or national origin
